I’m not really sure if someone here is trying to pull our leg or not, but the guy operating the crane seems serious enough.
If true, then these guys are batshit crazy. I mean WTH?
I can only say I won’t be hiring these “dudes”.
The video is weird, then kind of boring . . . but it’s a head-scratcher.
Does anyone hire them?
Hey, I don’t know, but that rig is not a homeowner rig. The mower looks like something a “professional” would use . . . so . . .
Mowing a pond with a riding mower, I thought I’d seen most stuff . . .

It seems an awful lot of effort for not a great result. All that crane hire, strapping, ropes and time. The guy standing around could have done a better job with a scythe in about the same time.
I suspect, however, that it is much more about the crane and ropes than about actually cutting stuff down.
Well it was an “awful” effort for sure. In this case it was probably more about the toys than the work, but those guys seemed so serious in their effort. You were thinking scythe I was thinking weedeater-that’s got to be because we are on different sides of the pond 🙂
The same theory dictates that putting a firework in your shorts and igniting the blue touchpaper may not be a very efficient way of getting to the moon but it is quite interesting to watch!
I don’t know how you “know” about such a thing and I think I will leave it at that!

Oh my! Just when I think I have seen it all.
Who knew that I have to add, “Don’t suspend a riding lawn mower by a crane while it is running.” to my safety training course. I’ll just bet it is not in the safety instructions included with the riding mower either– “Warning Do not lift mower by crane while in use!”
I guess we should be greatful they did decide to give someone a free ride.
Free-ride . . . now that would be crazy.
