ANLA Mgmt., Clinic

Whispering Crane Institute chopToday is Feb. 6th and that means time for the clinic. I’m sitting here at 1:30 in the morning(as usual) tying up some loose ends before I drive off later this morning.

I am very curious as to the attitude of this years attendees at the clinic. How will they be affected by the economic climate? How energized will they/we be? The group is usually very upbeat-very positive.

How about size? Will attendance be down? Is ANLA membership down?

It’s rough for a lot of folks out there(my SIL was let go yesterday) there may not be a lot of money for landscaping, improvements, new additions, big rebuilds, etc.

All of the interest coming my way so far is non-residential. I haven’t looked at a private residence job since last November and we lost that job because someone else came in 25% lower, or maybe more.

This weekend will be interesting. The great thing about the Mgmt Clinic is the attendees come in from all over the U.S. this will allow me to get a handle on thinking across the country.

Stay tuned.
